Questions
Is this a live sync with Google Sheets?
No — and that's on purpose. Live two-way sync means a service permanently holding a connection to your workspace; tools like Sync2Sheets do that well, for a monthly fee, and if you need edits flowing both ways continuously that's the right category. Restora is privacy-first backup — nothing is stored on our servers, so there's nothing to sync from. This is the free alternative for the other job: getting a clean copy out. Re-export whenever you want a fresh one.
Why not just use Notion's own export?
Notion's CSV writes relations as 32-character internal IDs instead of names, silently drops rows hidden by your current view's filters, and often leaves rollups blank. This export resolves every relation to the linked page's title, includes every row, and carries rollup/formula values.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The conversion runs locally in your browser; your content never leaves your device. (Same store-nothing principle behind Restora itself.)
Does it handle Arabic / accented text?
Yes — CSVs are written as UTF-8 with a BOM so Excel and Sheets detect the encoding correctly; the .xlsx is Unicode-native. No gibberish names.
How big can it go?
Google Sheets caps a workbook at 10 million cells — the tool warns you if your export is near that. For bigger databases, the same .xlsx opens in Excel (no such cap), or export a subset.

Can I get the data back INTO Notion later?
Not from a spreadsheet — that's a one-way snapshot. To put databases back into Notion with relations, rollups and views intact, that's Restora restore (backup is free; you only pay if you ever restore).
